How many classes are in Aion 2?

There are eight classes at global launch: Templar (main tank, sword and shield), Gladiator (melee bruiser, greatsword), Assassin (melee burst, dagger), Ranger (ranged physical, bow), Chanter (hybrid support, staff), Cleric (primary healer), Sorcerer (ranged magic burst, spellbook) and Spiritmaster (summoner, orb).

Classes are not faction- or gender-locked — both Elyos and Asmodians can play all eight — and every character starts as an Adventurer before specialising.

The Cleric's weapon (reported as a mace by community sources) is not confirmed by NCSOFT — one of several details worth confirming in-game on the global client.

Is the Brawler in the global version?
No. The Brawler exists in the Korean and Taiwanese service but is not in the global launch roster.
